Praying for the Fruit
Kyle Smith // 7.5.26
Before teaching on the Fruits of the Spirit, let us stop and pray that the Holy Spirit would begin to supernaturally produce this fruit in our lives and in our church.
A Warning Worth Repeating
Tucker Parman // 6.28.26
Sometimes the most loving thing someone can say is also the hardest to hear. In this message from Galatians 5:21, we look at Paul's sober warning about the kingdom of God and why he gives it not to condemn, but to wake us up. This is part of our ongoing series through Galatians, leading into the Fruit of the Spirit.
Drunkenness, Wild Parties, and Other Sins
Kyle Smith // 6.14.26
As we conclude looking at the list of the desires of our sinful nature, we are confronted with the warnings against drunkenness and the problems that can follow the decision to partake of too much alcohol. We are also given the hope to overcome the power of alcohol through the greater power of the Holy Spirit. The question is not if God is able, but do you want to be healed?
The Danger of Forgetting God
Matt Pye // 6.7.26
This message looked at the danger of forgetting God and how comfort can lead us into pride, self-reliance, and spiritual drift. Hosea 13 shows how Israel forgot the God who rescued and provided for them, while Galatians 5 reminds us that the flesh is not neutral and that we are called to walk by the Spirit. Ultimately, the message pointed us to Jesus, the only Savior, who rescues us from sin and calls us to live fully for Him.
Selfish Ambition, Dissension, Division, Envy
Kyle Smith // 5.31.26
Selfish ambition, dissension, division, and envy are evidence of the sinful nature at work within us. Every believer must honestly acknowledge these struggles and surrender them to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
Hostility, Quarreling, Jealousy, Outbursts of Anger
Kyle Smith // 5.17.26
Hostility, quarreling, jealousy, and outbursts of anger are all evidence of our sinful nature at work within us. While extreme expressions are easy to condemn, the subtle forms are often easy to excuse or justify, which is why every believer must honestly acknowledge these struggles and surrender them to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
Idolatry & Sorcery
Kyle Smith // 5.3.26
It is easy to view idolatry and sorcery as problems of the past or sins found only in other cultures, yet both still flow from the desires of our sinful nature today. Idolatry worships a god that cannot save and sorcery seeks power that God never gave.
Sexual Immorality, Impurity, & Lustful Pleasures
Kyle Smith // 4.26.26
In a culture that normalizes sexual brokenness, this message calls us to holiness with our bodies and minds, urging us to run from sin, pursue purity, and rely on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
The Guide
Kyle Smith // 4.19.26
We all feel the tension of wanting to do what’s right but lacking the power to follow through. This message explores how the Holy Spirit leads us into true freedom by changing both our behavior and our desires.
Stay Free
Kyle Smith // 4.12.26
Jesus didn’t set us free so we could run back to sin or try to save ourselves with better behavior. In Galatians 5, Paul reminds us that real freedom is found only in the grace of God, which in turn shapes a new way of living.
Because of Easter
Kyle Smith // 4.5.26
Easter is certainly a celebration of Jesus' resurrection, but it is also a celebration of the greatest rescue mission of all time. In this message, we look at why the resurrection is such good news, what it actually saves us from, and how Galatians 5 shows us that because Jesus is alive, we can continue to walk in freedom.
