ANCHOR YOUTH
Our Purpose
At Anchor Youth, we believe youth aren’t just the future of the church, they’re the church right now. That’s why we create an environment where students can encounter Jesus, discover their purpose, and be equipped to lead boldly in their schools, families, and communities.
We Gather
We gather every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30PM for a time of community, fun, and faith. Students in grades 6–12 come together for games, food, worship, teaching, and small groups. It’s a space designed for connection, where every student can feel seen, valued, and challenged to grow.
Our nights are full of energy and laughter, but also space to ask honest questions and build real relationships. We want students to leave each week encouraged in their faith and inspired to live it out.
Meet our Youth Director, Matt Pye!
Hey! I’m Matt, and I serve as the Youth Director here at Anchor. I’m passionate about seeing young people encounter Jesus in a real way, grow in their faith, and step into the purpose God has for their lives. I’m originally from London, England and have been serving in youth ministry for over 12 years. My journey started with missions through YWAM in Australia and eventually led me to youth ministry in the States. I also hold a Master’s in Christian Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I love building relationships and creating space for students to ask real questions and experience the love of God. You’ll usually find me hanging out with students, coaching soccer, hitting the golf course, or talking theology over pizza. My wife Lacey and I do ministry together and are raising two wild and wonderful boys, Micah and Asher. We’re so excited to be in Missoula and to be part of what God is doing here through Anchor!
